I have lived in Amble for around 14 years. I am very much involved in and care deeply about our community, the town, and its people. I have worked for the National Trust locally for 13 years in a multifaceted role but always dealing with people. For many years I also worked as the Body Shop Man hosting parties and events within the local community, and I often used these events to raise money for local causes. Helping people is my passion and by representing our town in the creation of a Neighbourhood Development plan we can hopefully help people both present and in the future. |

Luke McTaggart
My name is Luke McTaggart, I’m Amble through and through and have lived here all my life. I work as an artist and am involved in organising different exhibitions, events and projects here in the town. I do so primarily through Dovecote Street Arts CIC, a community interest company I co-direct. As well as this I serve as a Trustee at the Bailiffgate Museum & Gallery in Alnwick. I care deeply about Amble, it’s landscape, unique character and the brilliant array of people and personalities that live here. I am strong believer in transparency and positive communication and hope to help shape an Amble Neighbourhood Plan with these factors in mind, as well as, most importantly, the needs and desires of as a broad a cross-section of the Amble community as possible. |
